We are truly blessed. We have everything we could want. I look around at our neighborhood and i am reminded that everything can change in an instant. Our neighbor next to us foreclosed on her house and we will be getting new neighbors soon. We are blessed to have a house, in a great neighborhood with good schools and great old neighbors. There are sidewalks to walk on at night and there are kids in the neighborhood for our kids to play with.
This past 2 weeks at work have been trying. The death of a young kid, that i grew to know and be part of his family. And illnesses that should not be. We are blessed to have our health. We may not have perfect health but we have pretty good health. We also have good health insurance. I realize that we are lucky to have this great health insurance, especially with Miles' health issues.
These are the times to remember that we should share our blessing with others. You might be surprised who needs just a little help. The person sitting next to you, your neighbor, or someone that is just a stranger. If you are blessed, take the time to give. Give of your time, give of your money, or just give of your smile. Even the simplest acts can change someones attitude and their life. There is always a very thin line between needing money and having money.
